10 DAYS RELAXATION AND PEARL OF AFRICA JUNGLE SAFARI

This tour gives you the most amazing, enjoyable and memorable days of exploring the wilderness of Uganda that make her the pearl of Africa. It is designed to avail you with opportunity to travel to habitats where you may encounter with the world’s rare and threatened species of birds and animals not forgetting the most amazing experience when you stand within meters of a Gorilla family lead by a silverback. You will enjoy a walking safari through Ziwa Rhino sanctuary, the home of the Re-introduced White Rhinos. The birds and animals you are likely to encounter in this Safari’s activities include African elephants, hippopotamus, Rothchild’s giraffe, warthog, lions, leopards ,chimpanzees and other primates like Vervet monkeys, Red tail monkeys, Uganda Mangabey and Gorillas; different bird species like Secretary Bird, Black-breasted Snake-Eagle , Tawny and Martial Eagles, Carmine, Swallow Tailed Bee-eaters among others. Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, you will be welcomed by our company guide who will transfer you to the group hotel for overnight stay before the tour departs. Accommodation: Boma Guest House or
Day 2: Rhino tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and travel to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, embark on this memorable safari by driving North West of Uganda along the Kampala Gulu High way to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and later to Murchison Falls National Park.
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is endowed with over 22 Re-introduced White Rhinos. The Rhino tracking exercise begins with briefing from a specialized site ranger and thereafter you proceed to track the Rhinos. This activity normally takes between 30minutes to an hour depending on where the Rhinos are located within the sanctuary. Your time at the sanctuary will offer you an opportunity to learn more about the White Rhinos and will give you memorable experience about Rhinos in Africa.
On return from the tracking activity, have your lunch and proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Murchison Falls National Park is greatly endowed with animals, birds, the Nile River and savanna grassland that will certainly give you beautiful lasting memories about wild life. This park is Uganda’s largest and the oldest national park. It’s a home to 76 species of mammals and 451 birds. Like earlier stated, it is bisected by river Nile, has the mighty breath taking Murchison falls and spectacular views of water. It is a park that you will always wish to explore. Visit top of the falls and while conducting this adventure you will be able to see how this amazing river Nile forces its way through a gap between rocks creating a big thunderous roar. Day 3: Game drive and boat cruise in Murchison Falls National Park.
This third day of your Safari gets you to encounter with the natural establishment of Murchison Falls National Park. You begin your exploration of the park with a game drive in the northern circuit of the park and along the Albert Delta sighting Lions, Giraffes, Hartebeest, Buffalos, Elephants, Bushbuck, Hippopotamus, Spotted hyenas, Wild cats, leopard as well as many of the other mammals of the park. For the bird lovers, the Albert Delta supports the Secretary Bird, Black-chested Snake Eagle, Tawny and Martial Eagles Carmine and Swallow-tailed Bee-Eaters among others.
In the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls where the Nile thunders through a small 7-meter gap down to the delta. This experience is breath taking and should not to be missed! The banks of the Nile are home to many species. You may see huge Nile Crocodiles, Hippos and other wildlife that may come down to drink from this mighty river. You may see the pre-historic Shoebill, Saddle-billed stork and many other birds. Return to your lodge for an overnight stay
Day 4: Top of Murchison falls, transfer to Kibale forest National Park
This day will start with an early morning breakfast you will drive south via Hoima to Fort Portal through verdant countryside passing through traditional homesteads, farms and Tea Estates. You will have a stopover for lunch en-route and arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon. Check in at your isunga lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Chimps tracking in Kibale Forest National Park and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Game Park
This day’s activity aims at giving you an opportunity to physically observe chimps and get practical understanding of lives and behaviors of chimps. The activity intends to give you more insight discovery about chimpanzees.
Kibale Forest National park is located in south western part of Uganda. Kibale forest national Park has tracts of tropical forests with patches of grassland and swamps. It is a home to 13 species of primates and famous for chimpanzee tracking. It’s also a good area for sighting different bird species.
The day’s activities begin by driving to the briefing point to be briefed about the chimpanzee tracking. After briefing, you will head into the forest for Chimps tracking.
While tracking chimps, you are likely to discover how chimpanzees use a variety of sophiscated tools to construct sleeping nests, no wonder they are Humans’ closest living relatives. Other primates you will likely encounter are the rare I’Hoest’s monkey ,the black and white Colobus, Blue monkey, Grey cheeked mangabey, Red tailed monkey, Olive baboon to mention but a few.
On return from the tracking, check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth national Game Park. This Park has several beautiful crater lakes that wind through the rolling hills, the Kazinga channel with an awesome view of both land and water adapted animals such as hippos lined up at the shores. With a vegetation cover of grassland, acacia woodland, tropical rainforest and a variety of wetlands this park is home to different animal species and birds. By exploring this park the next day, you may witness all this natural endowment. Overnight at Pumba safari cottages
Day 6: Game drive and boat cruise at Queen Elizabeth National park
After breakfast, you will start this day’s activities by having a game drive in Queen Elizabeth national Game Park. This activity focuses on giving you personal encounter with the wilderness of Queen Elizabeth National Game Park. You may see the amazing big game hippos, elephants and buffalos. This tour will enable you understand how these animals thrive in the grasslands and shorelines. You may also encounter warthog, waterbuck, Uganda kob, topis and monkeys as they play about in the trees. Bold baboons will not be hesitant to steal your snacks if you do not close the car windows.
Queen Elizabeth has the environs of the Kazinga Channel, Lake Edward and Lake George. It is intended that upon completion of your game drive in the park, you undertake an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel- a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. It is intended to give you desirable relaxation and we believe it will definitely be one of the highlights of your safari because of the abundant bird life and animals that are sighted. Return to your lodge for an overnight stay.
Day7: Travel to Bwindi impenetrable Forest National park
You will have an early breakfast and drive through the Ishasha sector where you are likely to see tree climbing lions resting on trees waiting to pounce on the Uganda Kobs and other prey. Continue to Bwindi impenetrable forest park.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest Park is a home for an estimated 400 mountain gorillas which is half of the world’s population. It is also a home for more than 120 mammals and a variety of different bird species, and more importantly about the birds, is the existence of the 23 Albertine Rift Endemics.
On arrival, check in and relax at your lodge. Later, go for the village walk around and interact with the local people giving you an insight about their lives. Overnight at Buhoma Community camp
Day 8: Gorilla trekking at Bwindi impenetrable forest national park
This day will begin by having breakfast and then assemble at the briefing point for guidelines about this amazing activity. After briefing by the specialized site ranger, you will head to the forest. The trekking duration is determined by the position where the gorillas spent the night and their feeding range.
Once the gorillas are found, you will enjoy an hour with them. You will enjoy this memorable experience as you stand just few meters from the gorillas watching them feed; play and even watching them bond with their young ones. You will be amazed at how these creatures have so much resemblance with human beings. This is an amazing once in a lifetime experience which should not be missed. After this activity, you will relax at your lodge for next day’s adventure.
Day 9: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park and evening game drive
You will depart from Bwindi early in the morning after breakfast and head to Lake Mburo National Game Park for yet another marvelous encounter with the wild of Uganda.
Lake Mburo National Park is a habitat to more than 60 species of mammals including the Impala which only lives in this park in Uganda, the Burchell’s zebras, Buffalos, Warthogs, Hippos, Leopard, Topis, Elands and Hyenas among others. It is also home to 350 bird species which include the rare Shoe bill stork, African fin foot, Saddle-billed stork among others.
Along the way to Lake Mburo national Game Park, you will enjoy Uganda’s country side which is abundantly blessed with eye catching sceneries such as the hills, vast banana plantations and herds of the indigenous Ankole cow. Surely, your journey will be filled with moments of memorable exposure to nature.
On arrival at Lake Mburo national Game Park, you will go for an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo. This lake is rich with a diversity of animal and plant species, which can only be viewed clearly while on a boat trip. These include crocodiles, Hippopotami and birds like, African Finfoot which is a must see, Pelicans, Black crake, Heron, Cormorant and Fish eagle. You may also see the rare Shoebill stork.
This park provides the best chance of viewing a deep red sunset silhouetting the thorny acacia shrub along the extensive marshy area. This amazing natural occurrence is worthy being experienced. Overnight stay at Rwakobo rock lodge.
Day 10: Morning Game drive, travel to Kampala
You will begin this day with an early morning game drive within the park where you are likely to see Zebras in large numbers, Buffalos, Hippos, Topis, Elands, Impalas and many other savannah animals. After the game drive, check out from the lodge and drive to Kampala. Along the way, stop at the equator for enroute lunch and photo session.
