3 x 6000m summits within 3 weeks

But first you have to get used to altitude. You’ll start to visit the highest capital city in the World – La Paz- Bolivia, before you’ll cross the Altiplano to reach the shores of lake Titicaca. After a boat ride the next day you will hike on the sun island and its beautiful view of the Cordillera Real mountain chain. What awaits you next is the biggest salt flat worldwide. It is definitely a place to be seen once in a lifetime. Once down in the southern part of Bolivia, it is woth to take a few extra days to visit the colourfull Lagoons, its flamingos, the volcanoes, geyser fields, thermal waters and eroded lava fields. After 2 weeks in high altitude you’ll drive through the desertic Altiplano towards the Sajama national Park. Acotango will be your first 6050m summit, climbed within a day. You’ll then have to choose between the more technical Pomerape 6280m or easier but hiher Parinakhota 6330m twin volcanoes. Both of these are also climbed within a day. For the end of you trip you still have a big challenge awaiting you, namely Illimani, the 2nd highest summit in Bolivia, and to our sense the most beautiful “normal route” in the country. This summit tkaes 4 days as the approach starts at lower atltitude. there still should be a day or 2 left to rest in La Paz at the end of the trip (days also used for security, and meteorological window
