DAY 01 (L D H ) KUALA LUMPUR – CAMERON HIGHLANDS

Cameron Highlands is a hill resort with cool temperatures known for its farmlands, nurseries, waterfalls, rivers, lakes, wildlife, aborigines etc.
CASCADING WATERFALLS – Photo shoot.  Souvenirs, tribal handicrafts, strange herbs, aphrodisiacs available at the roadside stalls.
TANAH RATA Biggest  town in the Camerons . Malaysian Lunch,
TEA PLANTATION a scenery of lush greenery founded by a British Businessman Sir John Russell in 1929. The BOH Tea Plantation of 1,200 hectares works with WWF in the conservation of our endangered Elephants, Tigers and the Orang Utan. The Tea Cafe sells various ‘teas’ and part of the proceeds goes towards this noble cause indeed! 

BUTTERFLY FARM A secret paradise of Butterflies and insects that dance on scented flowers and ferns. A Farm tour has been specially arranged for you. 

STRAWBERRY FARM Hand pick fresh strawberries for a fee (optional).

VEGETABLE MARKET PLACE Take a stroll to see a showcase of various vegetables, flowers, fruits grown in the Camerons.  Check in to hotel. Free at leisure. 1900hrs  Malaysian dinner. Bring sweaters as the nites are cold. 

DAY 02 (B L D H )CAMERONS-TAMAN NEGARA Drive time 3 1/2 hours
Hotel : XCAPE RESORT (only resort with swimming pool in the jungle) or similar.

Taman Negara is a 130 million years old tropical rainforest – home to tigers, elephants, tapirs, sun bears etc and 14,000 flowering plants, 300 bird species etc. 

KUALA TAHAN JETTY On arrival Lunch at the Floating Restaurant.

RAPIDS SHOOTING a take-home thrill as the boatman negotiates 7 sets of rapids and a “chance” to get wet.

ABORIGINES VILLAGE They live environment friendly lives and the rainforest is their supermarket. See their fire making skills and their blowpipe hunting techniques. 

JUNGLE TREKKING The Experienced Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of Taman Negara.

MESMERIZING RAINFOREST WATERFALLS You will arrive at the waterfalls and a cool dip is a must. You can enjoy the waterfalls for some time. Back to hotel, 1900hrs  Dinner at the Floating Restaurant.

NITE JUNGLE WALK Join the Nature Guide in the “hunt” for the lesser animals as in mouse deer, flying fox, spiders, scorpions etc

OBSERVATION HIDE Climb the Hide to watch nocturnal animals come for their salt lick. Back to hotel. 

DAY 03 (B L )TAMAN NEGARA – KUALA LUMPUR (Drive time 3 1/2 hours

ELEPHANTS are an endangered species in Malaysia A Center was set up to subdue, catch and translocate the rogue as well as the baby elephants. Photo shoot sessions of the elephants. 

ICONIC BATU CAVES Climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam who is honored during the Hindu festival of Thaipusam every year. Devotees give thanks for fulfillment of  vows. Ladies to be properly attired to enter the temple – knees and shoulders to be covered.  Drop off at your hotel approx 1700hrs. End f tour.
