6 Days Kenya Flying Safari

This is a 6 days flying package featuring the Lonrho Hotels, including a night at The Ark right at the heart of Aberdare National Park, a day at leisure at the Mt Kenya Safari Club which has an enviable reputation for hospitality and excellent cuisine, not to mention the various optional activities. You will then fly over the Rift Valley to Kenya’s most popular Game Sanctuary, Maasai Mara Game Reserve. At the Mara, accommodation will be at the Luxurious Mara Safari Club.

Day1. Nairobi/Aberdare
Depart Nairobi Wilson Airport and fly to Nanyuki airstrip arriving at 1000hrs. Transfer toAberdare Country Club for lunch. Afternoon transfer to The Ark for overnight floodlit game viewing. Dinner and overnight at the tree Hotel.

Day 2. Mt Kenya Safari Club
Drive back to Aberdare Country Club after breakfast to pick your luggage then proceed to the nearby Mount Kenya Safari Club, with a brief stop at the equator crossing. Arrive Mount Kenya Safari Club mid morning. Spend the day at leisure with optional activities including Trout Fishing, horse back riding and Bird walks all arranged for directly at the hotel desk. Dinner and overnight at the prestigious club. Lunch and dinner at the Club.

Day 3. Maasai Mara
Depart Aberdare Country Club in the morning and transfer to the airstrip for schedule flight to Maasai Mara Game Reserve. On arrival transfer to Mara Safari Club. After lunch you will take an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Club.

Day 4. Maasai Mara
Two full days in Maasai Mara. For game views, landscape and sheer beauty, this is the most spectacular of all Kenyan parks and reserves. While in Mara, an optional visit to a local Maasai village will be worth you time. All meals and overnight at Mara Safari Club.

Day 5. Maasai Mara

Take some time exploring one of Africa’s iconic safari destinations where you can see the great migration and the many predators that feed on this magnificent spectacle. Go on guided game drives, lead by Maasai Warriors or really experience the bush on foot through an interpretive bush walk. Stop off for sundowners and watch the colours of the sky change as the sun sets. Then discover the region’s nocturnal animals such as a leopard, hyena and lion on the prowl during a night game drive before returning to your Kenya luxury camp. Optional activities include a visit to a traditional Maasai homestead or taking to the sky with a hot air balloon safari, which is truly one of the most tranquil wildlife experiences.

Day 6. Nairobi
Transfer to the airstrip for schedule flight back to Nairobi to arrive approx 1215hrs. Drop at your hotel or transfer to the airport for onward flight home.
