Overview: This multi day tour covers UNESCO Historic Malacca, Kuala Lumpur Capital City, Rainforest Taman Negara, Hill Station the Cameron Highlands, and drop off at Penang Island. Penang is now a prime tourist attraction also listed as a UNESCO Heritage site. Penang is also known as a food haven.

DAY 01 (L D H ) SINGAPORE HOTEL – UNESCO MALACCA
Hotel: Puri Hotel or similar
Malacca was an International Trading Port. The Chinese brought Gold, Silk and Buddhism. The Siamese brought Ivory and Buddhism. The Indians Cloth and Hinduism and the Arabs brought Pearls, Perfumes and Islam.
1511 Portuguese Occupation 1641 Dutch Occupation 1795 British occupation and they left us with Independence on 31 August 1957.
0800hrs Our English speaking Tour Coordinator will fetch you from your Singapore Hotel reception and bring you over to Malaysia. You will be driven to Malacca and after a sumptuous Malaysian lunch, the tour starts…

KAMPONG MORTEN 1920 – Traditional Malay Village with die-hard customs and traditions as in traditional wear, musical instruments, antique furniture. STADTHUYS 1650 – Formerly Dutch Governor’s house now Historic Museum. ST PAUL’S HILL AND A FAMOSA 1512 – A Chapel and the Fort was built by the Portuguese and what stands now is the Gateway of the Fort. JONKERS’ STREET – the street of antiquities and many souvenirs about Malacca’s rich past. Lunch would be at Jonkers’ Street and than take a stroll through Jonkers’ Street. Check in to hotel. Free and easy. 1900hrs Proceed for dinner and you may continue with your walkabout of Jonkers.
DAY 02 ( B L D H ) MALACCA – KUALA LUMPUR.
Hotel: Istana Hotel or similar
After breakfast depart for the Capital City of Kuala Lumpur, enroute bonus stop at the iconic Batu Caves and climb 272 steps into the temple of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam who is honored during Thaipusam every year. Devotees give thanks for vows fulfilled. Ladies to be properly attired to enter the temple – knees and shoulders to be covered. This is at the temple grounds only.
Visit the National Monument – a War Memorial for the dead soldiers. The Sultan Abdul Samad Building is a unique colonial landmark of Moorish design where Malaya got her independence from the British on 31 August 1957. St Mary’s Cathedral and the Selangor Clubhouse of Tudor design were the other landmarks. Check in to hotel. Free at leisure to explore on your own.

DAY 03 (B L D H )KUALA LUMPUR – RAINFOREST (TAMAN NEGARA)
Hotel: Xcape Resort (only resort with swimming pool in the jungle) or similar
Taman Negara is 130 million years old tropical rainforest with endangered Tigers,, Elephants, Sun Bears, 14,000 flowering plants, 300 bird species, etc.
NOTE: THE CANOPY WALKWAY IS CLOSED FOR RENOVATION UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
0800hrs Depart for Taman Negara. On arrival lunch at the floating restaurant followed by Rapids Shooting – the boatman negotiates 7 sets of rapids and its a take-home thrill. The ride takes you to an aborigine village and see their fire making skills and blowpipe hunting techniques. The rainforest is their supermarket and they live care free lives. The experienced Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of the jungle as he takes you Jungle Trekking. The trekking will lead you to a mesmerizing Rainforest Waterfalls. You can enjoy a cool dip. 1700hrs Check in to hotel. Free at leisure. 1900hrs Dinner at the Floating Cafe followed by Nite Jungle walk. Join the Nature Guide in the “hunt” for the lesser animals as in mouse deer, scorpions, spiders etc. Then climb an Observation hide to watch nocturnal animals come for their salt lick. And the Forest Orchestra plays on.
DAY 04 ( B L D H ) TAMAN NEGARA – CAMERON HIGHLANDS
Drive time 3 1/2 hours).
Hotel : Strawberry Park Resort or similar
Cameron Highlands is a hill resort with cool temperatures and known for its farmlands, tea plantations, nurseries, lakes, waterfalls, orchards.
0800hrs Depart for Camerons and lunch at Tanah Rata. Then visit a tea plantation – a scenery of greenery unfolds as you sip tea from the Tea Cafe. The plantation works hand in hand with WWF in the conservation of our Orang Utan, Tigers and Elephants. Then visit a Butterfly Farm – a secret paradise of butterflies and insects that dance on scented flowers and ferns. A farm tour has been arranged. Hand pick fresh strawberries for a fee (Optional). and take a stroll through the Vegetable market to see a showcase of various products grown in the Camerons. 1700hrs Check in to hotel. Free at leisure. 1900hrs Malaysian dinner – bring sweaters as the nites are cold.
DAY 05 (B L H ) CAMERON HIGHLANDS – PENANG ISLAND
(Drive time: 3 hours) Hotel : Bayview Resort, Batu Feringghi or similar
Penang Island is a thriving tourist destination listed as a UNESCO Heritage site with colonial landmarks and also a melting pot of history. Most international hotels and restaurants are located at the happening place of Batu Feringghi. Penang is also known as a food haven.
0800hrs Depart for Penang Island. On arrival lunch followed by visits to the Clan Jetty, Trishaw ride through Georgetown – capital of Penang and drive past Fort Cornwallis where Sir Francis Light – the founder of Penang first landed in 1786. Visit the sleeping Buddha before drop off at your hotel in Batu Feringghi. The hotel boasts of water sports as in Jet Skiing, Para Sailing, wind surfing. Dining options of seafood restaurants, street food selling fascinating Malaysian as well as International Cuisine and seafront night markets. You are left alone to enjoy the Sun Sea and Sand and the hotel also boasts of a Jacuzzi, Spa, Gym, swimming pool and the beautiful beach. You are in for a blast. Dinner will be on your own.
DAY 06 (B H ) PENANG ISLAND FREE AND EASY
Hotel: Bayview Resort, Batu Feringghi
Guest to enjoy on their own a full day of undisturbed relaxation and fun. Have a lazy breakfast and a fascinating lunch of multi ethnic flavors and a chill-out at nite. Enjoy !
DAY 07 ( B ) PENANG ISLAND – GUESTS OWN ONWARD JOURNEY
Free and easy till 1200hrs. Guests to check out and make own arrangement for onward journey. Good Bye.
