ZAMBEZI RIVER BOARDING (FULL DAY)

his is another funny and exciting activity which originated in New Zealand and has extended on the Zambezi River in Zambia.The client will be given a board with fins on their for motion. This activity has assumed name in many countries- Hydrospeed in England and White water sledging in New Zealand.

2 DAYS 1 NIGHT ZAMBEZI RIVER WHITE WATER RAFTING

DAY 1(ONE)
Pick up time is 09:30hrs. Drive to the Falls. Get briefing about the trip’s do and dont of the trip. You are also advised to handover any valuables for safe keeping. You will be given the indemnity document to sign to show that you agree with the terms and condition provided by the company.The senior guide will then proceed with safety talks( How to paddle,how to keep the life jacket on and how to get down on the rapids. The guides the clients on how to put on the life jacket, wear the helmet and how to handle the paddle and clients will be divided in trip group of a miximun of 8 people per raft. After this one of the guides will lead you in a line procession to the Boiling Pot .

At the boiling Pot clients will get practical lesson on paddling and getting down when they are in rapids. After this session clients will paddle upstream to the Falls where they will see the minor rapids which are big, rough and technical. Then they will go Under the Spray for a swim. After the swim they will have lunch. After lunch and rest, continued rafting up to rapid 10 where they will camp for the number.

Availability: Camping gear, Drinks and Dinner.
Clients will then have a short briefing about the following day’s activity before resigning to their respective tents.

DAY 2(TWO)

Wake up at 06:30hrs , take a bath and have breakfast then start the trip below rapid 10 – below 16B by the water falls where they will have lunch. After lunch they continue, but between rapid 19 and 21 , clients will do a beer drinking float. At rapid 25 , clients camp and enjoy beverages and dinner.
please note that we always provide drinks and snacks before dinner.

After rapid 25 the client will walk up the gorge , on top of the gorge they will find drinks(beers included) and snacks. Clients will have a village tour on their way back.

7 DAY AND 6 NIGHTS MULTI-DAYS RAFTING

DAY 1(ONE)

After breakfast we raft from rapid 21 to Moemba, We will floating lunch before camping at Moemba. At Moemba clients will have a special treat on Wine, Gin & tonic , Snack as they wait for dinner. Briefing on the following day.

DAY 4,5& 6

After breakfast, clients paddle for 5 minutes ,portage at lower Moemba, the continue to Dam Site, portage at Son of Ghost rider and Ghost rider walk around deep throat and camp at the Wheel for 2 nights.
Briefing for the following day

DAY 7

After breakfast, client paddle to Hippo camp and finish the trip at Matesi. After this point, clients will be flawn by Helicopter for a night at Taita Falcon Lodge above rapid 17.

The following morning clients will be driven to their respective lodging places

SWIM UNDER THE FALLS

This is a unique activity which is done in the Batoka Gorge right on the edge of one of the 7(seven) Natural Wonders in the World- The Victoria Falls called the Spray/Swim Under The Falls.

Clients paddle upstream to the edge of the Falls where this activity take place in a big natural pool.

FULL DAY ZAMBEZI WHITE WATER RAFTING

White Water Rafting is a well known sport taking place on the Zambezi River attracting many international tourist than any other activity in Zambia. The Tour will take you through 25 rapids, a collective and exciting paddling experience that unites you with the spirit of Zambezi. We break at rapid 10 for lunch and paddle on to rapid 25 after Lunch. Cutting into waves and being drenched is an experience second to none.
