Escape to the Parisian countryside and see one of France’s magnificent châteaux that began its life as a medieval palace. It has a rich history dating back to 1137. Fontainebleau has been the residence of many French Kings and Emperors from Louis VI to Napoleon III. Today, both is a national museum and UNESCO World Heritage site.
You’ll enjoy a lunch in the village of Barbizon with its attractive stone cottages and idyllic landscapes. Barbizon is known as the Village of Painters and its seen as the birthplace of the realist movement in art.
We’ll take you to Vaux-le-Vicomte where you will explore the palace with a guided tour. You’ll get to climb the bell tower and enjoy the stunning gardens
