Sri Lanka is a small paradise with wonderful beaches, marvelous mountains, lush green forests, exciting wildlife, spectacular cities or ancient history and much more. On this tour, you can explore all important and attractive places in Sri Lanka.
Day 1 – Colombo
Arrive at Colombo international airport. Meet your guide and transfer to hotel in Colombo.
Afternoon, City tour of the capital. You can visit Gangarama Seema Malakaya, Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, independence square, national museum, and Galle Face green.

Day 2 – Sigiriya
After breakfast, Proceed to Pinnawala elephant orphanage. This orphanage was set up by the government to take care of baby elephants lost or abandoned in the wild. You can see bathing of elephant and feeding to baby elephants here.
Then going to climb Sigiriya lions rock. Enjoy the exhilarating climb to the top of the rock fortress of Sigiriya-a 5th Century “Fortress in the Sky.
Visit Sri Lankan traditional wood carving factory to see how craft man use their traditional techniques to make nice wood carving.

Day 3 – Sigiriya
After Breakfast at the hotel, Leave for one of the best kept ruins of ancient Ceylon – the UNESCO World Heritage City of Polonnaruwa, which was the Capital of Sri Lanka from the 11thto 13thcentury. You can visit Parakrama Samudra, statue of King Parakramabahu, Polonnaruwa museum, Deepa Uyana, kings palace, Kumara Pokuna, royal court, Shiva temple 1, Thuparama stone image house, Nissanka Latha Mandapa, Atadage, Hetadage, Vatadage, stone book, Sath Mahal Prasada , Rankoth Vehera, Alahana Pirivena, Lankatilaka temple, Kiri Vehera, Gal Vihara, lotus pond and Tivanka image house.
Then you can take a elephant back ride which is include with this tour package. Not only you get to ride atop these magnificent pachyderms but also interact with them in numerous ways. Apart from riding atop the elephants, you are offered the options of game viewing, picnicking with them on the plains, grooming and feeding, and also swimming alongside them.

Day 4 – Kandy
After breakfast, Proceed to Kandy. On the way, visit Dambulla Golden Temple built in 1BC by king Walagambahu. The monastic complex is cut right into the rock and consists of five main caverns which contain over 150 statues of the Buddha, ranging in composition, posture and size. Being a sacred pilgrimage site for over 22 centuries, the temple is a masterpiece of ancient engineering combined with modern preservation techniques.
Also visit Mathale spicy garden. Sri Lanka is famous for its spices and spices gardens. These spice gardens offers tourists memorable visits to various spice plantations in Sri Lanka. During early historical times Sri Lanka known as Taprobane, was world renowned for its quality spices.
Then visiting gem museum. Throughout history, Sri Lanka has been known as a land of gems. Sri Lanka is home to 40 varieties of Gems out of 85 varieties available in the whole world. At the gem museum visit, you can have a better special knowledge about valuable gems in Sri Lanka.
Evening, visit traditional Kandy dancing show. A unique , typically Kandyan or up-country form of dancing that symbolizes the traditional Sinhalese dance.
Then visiting Kandy Tooth Temple. Overlooking the north the shore of Kandy Lake, in the centre of town, the temple of the Tooth is a place of pilgrimage for millions of devout Buddhists from all over Sri Lanka, and is regarded by Buddhist Sri Lankans as the treasury of their entire Culture. Sri Lanka’s premiers and presidents traditionally deliver their first post-election speeches from its balcony, and lesser politicians too make thanksgiving visits to the temple on election.

Day 5 – Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast, Proceed to Nuwara Eliya. On the way, visit Peradeniya botanical garden which located close to the banks of the Mahaweli Ganga, these gorgeous gardens were first planted and laid out for king Kirthi Sri Rajasingha. (1747-1780) and cover some 60ha (150acres) of trees lawns and flowering shrubs, including a 20-ha (50acre) arboretum of more than 10,000 trees. Under British rule, the royal park became a botanical garden in 1821 and is the largest of Sr lanka’s three main botaincal gardens. Here, exotic crops such as coffee, tea, nutmeg, rubber and cinchona (quinine) – all of which later became important to Sri Lanka’s economy – were tested.
We also visit Batik factory where you can see how to make traditional Sri Lankan Batik
Then visit a tea plantation and a tea factory, where the best Tea in the world is produced. Here you could observe all about the process of manufacturing tea. You can also see how tea is graded. Taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the Factory.
Next going to Ramboda Falls which is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass in Nuwara-Eliya district. It is the11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka with109m high. Altitude of the falls is 945m above sea level.
Then we visit one of hindu temple called “Seetha Kovil” (Hanuman Kovil). It is found on the way to Badulla from Nuwara Eliya. The temple is located in the village called “Seetha Eliya”.
The area is related to the Ramayana story in Hinduism. Folklore says that the mighty king Ravana kidnapped princess Seeta who was the queen of Rama and hide her in the place where the temple now is.

Day 6 – Bentota
After breakfast proceed to Bentota one of the very nice golden beach in Sri Lanka for your beach holiday. overnight stay at hotel in Bentota
Day 7 – Bentota
Your beach holiday. Visit Kande Vihara temple which located close to Bentota.
Then visit turtle farm located in Kosgoda. Out of the eight species of marine turtles living today, five are spotted in the sandy beaches in the southwestern and southeastern parts of the island. They generally come to nest in the soft sand. You can see turtle farms which protects eggs and baby turtles until they grow
Next go to see Moonstone mines in Ambalangoda. Sri Lanka is famous for its precious gems and moonstone. Moonstones belong in the semi-precious category but are an important component of the gem business. Meetiyagoda, located between Ambalangoda and Hikkaduwa, is one of the few places where they are found in such high concentrations. It is believed by the villagers that this piece of land, around an acre in extent, is blessed by the moon.

Day 8 – Departure
From Bentota, proceed to Bandaranaike International Airport for departure.
