Itinerary
Day 1 Shanghai (No meal included)
Upon your arrival, our guide will meet you and transfer you to the city center.

Day 2 Shanghai (B, L, D)
After breakfast, our guide will take you to Yuyuan Garden and the old street, which will definitely bring you back to the old life in Shanghai. And then you will visit, Xintiandi, which has many Shikumen houses built in recent 100 years, pure old Shanghai flavor that you can get a glance of the modern history of Shanghai.
After having lunch, you will travel to the Bund, a very important lankmark of Shanghai on the western bank of the Huangpu River. Afterwards take a walk along the famous pedestrian street in Shanghai, Nanjing Road. In the evening, you will enjoy a fantastic acrobatic performance.

Day 3 Shanghai -> Tongli -> Suzhou (B, L)
Today you will be driven to Tongli Water Town. It is a charming waterside town which is less commercial than other famous water towns. You will visit the small sites in the town and enjoy a short boat ride on the canal winding through the town. This afternoon you will be transferred to Suzhou by private car. In Suzhou, you will pay a visit to Humble Administrator Garden. It is the largest of all classical gardens in Suzhou. Then spare your time in No. 1 Silk Factory which is founded in 1926 as a state-owned factory. With this tour, firstly you can get the knowledge of the whole life of a silkworm.

Day 4 Suzhou -> Shanghai (B, L)
After enjoying your breakfast, you will travel around the Pingjiang old town area, where Suzhou City originated. You will then visit the Kunqu Opera Museum, built in 1986, displaying many precious materials of this kind of opera. After having lunch, you will be transferred to Shanghai by private car. After that, enjoy yourself in the art center of Shanghai, the Big Warehouse. Have your leisure time in the galleries and appreciate the Chinese art.

Day 5 Shanghai -> Xian (B, L, D)
After enjoying your breakfast, you will be driven to the airport and fly to Xian. When you arrive in Xian, you will be transferred to the hotel. You will then visit the City Wall – one of the best preserved in China. In the evening, you will eat a dumpling dinner and then go watching Tang Dynasty Show.

Day 6 Xian (B, L)
After breakfast, pay a visit to Shaanxi History Museum, which is one of the first huge state museums with modern facilities in China with over 300,000 items. This afternoon, you will visit the world famous Terra Cotta Warriors. It was discovered in 1974 and considered one of the eight wonders in the world. Spend your time in Muslim Street to taste local snacks after that.

Day 7 Xian -> Beijing (B, L)
Today you will be transferred to the airport for the flight to Beijing. When you arrive in Beijing, you will be transferred to the hotel.
In the afternoon, you will embark on a pedi-cab tour of the hutongs (alleyways) in Beijing’s historic Houhai (Back Lakes) district. These alleyways containing traditional courtyard homes used to be neighborhoods in Beijing. Though many have been torn down to make room for modern buildings, some are saved and well preserved. On this tour, you will get to visit a local home and chat with the family who resides in them, a rare insight into everyday life of Beijingers. Then you will visit Olympic Park to have an exterior look at Bird’s Nest and Water Cube.

Day 8 Beijing (B, L, D)
Today you will visit Tiananmen Square, the biggest city square in the world. Covering 440,000 square meters, it has witnessed many important historic events taking place here. Then pay a visit to the Forbidden City, one of the five most famous palaces in the world where 24 emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasties lived and ruled for over 500 years. In the afternoon visit the Summer Palace, which used to be a summer resort of Empress Dowager Cixi. It is mainly dominated by Longevity Hill (60 meters high) and the Kunming Lake. It covers an expanse of 2.9 square kilometers, three quarters of which is water.

Day 9 Beijing (B, L)
Today you will pay a visit to Dingling, one of the 13 Ming Tombs. It is the tomb of Zhu Yijun, who is considered as the most indiligent emperor in China’s history. The tomb is the only one among the 13 tombs that was excavated. This afternoon explore the fantastic section of Great Wall-Mutianyu Section, which is well preserved with spectacular view and has fewer tourists than Badaling.
