Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara
Depart in the morning at 0900 hours to Masai Mara National Reserve, we drive to the great rift valley with an altitude of 2140 meters above sea level, here you will witness the magnificent view of the valley, we will join the road to the head quarters of the Masai ‘Narok’ we will stop for refreshments and proceed on to the Masai Mara arriving in time for lunch followed by an afternoon game drive and dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Masai Mara
Full day game drive. At 0700hours, with packed lunches, we leave our camp and spend the whole day on safari viewing the wildlife and as it is the beginning of the great wilder beast migration we will head to the Mara River and hope to view the fantastic drive of these great animals as they all cross with a one motive ‘get across’ where they are at time attacked by crocodiles and lions as they try to get across the river. Dinner and overnight in the Maasai Mara.
Day 3: Masai Mara
An early game drive leaving camp at around 0615hrs, this is a good time as most of the cats are still active and can be found in times hunting or eating what they have killed in the early hours of the morning. Drive back for late breakfast, mid morning you can have the privilege to visit one of the local Masai villages to get to learn more on how they live as they did centuries ago, afternoon you can choose to go for a walking safari which is an experience you can’t miss as this gives you the closeness of the wildlife around you, afternoon short game drive and later dinner and overnight.
