Sani Lodge
The Sani Lodge is an ecolodge dedicated to ecotourism, environmental conservation and community projects in the Amazon rainforest.- It is owned by members of the Sani community, and due to their extensive knowledge of the Amazon wildlife and biodiversity they can give their guests a true experience of an Amazon jungle tour.
The lodge is located on the mysterious Challuacocha lake, whose shores are obscured by floating water hyacinths and grasses. North of this lake lies the Cuyabeno Reserve and along the southern border stretches the Yasuni National Park.
This Lodge can accommodate a maximum of 30 guests in 10 private, thatch-roofed cabanas and 4 family sized cabins which each have a private bathroom. The cabanas are spaciously designed for double or triple occupancy and have screened in windows to guard against insects while you are asleep. Electric lights at the lodge get their electricity from ecologically friendly solar panels.
Apart from the cabanas, Sani Lodge also offers a campsite for budget or more adventurous travellers.
