Summary:
A safari across the Sudano-Guinean vegetation and into the Sahelian plain. A veritable escapade into the wilderness made up of national parks such as the Benoue National Park (renowned for its forests, Hippopotamus, Derby Elans, primates and birds) and Waza National Park (the most visited in the Central African sub-region—renowned because of its outstanding beauty and easy accessibility to elephants, lions, large antelopes, ostriches and migratory birds).

These prices include car hiring / train, fuel, driver, lodging, guiding, entry fee/ porters, food, handling charge and miscellaneous. Not included are airport tax:15.5euros, visa fee: 98euros and flight: varied.
ITINERARY
1st day: arrival at douala and overnight.
2nd day: Travel from douala to yaounde by train.
On arrival visit interesting sites in yaounde. And return to the train station for departure from yaounde to ngaoundere in the evening.
3rd day: arrival at ngaoundere in the morning and drive to the benoue national park after going through the famous giant cliff, the longest in Cameroon.
What to do in the benoue national park
-Visit the hippotamus pond, go to the concentration zone of large mammals such as the derby land, waterbucks and bufon kobs and a variety of primates. There are many beautiful birds along the way.
-walk through the dry and rocky beds of river benoue.
Spend the night in the resort enjoying the fantastic sounds of nature.
4th day: benue national park to maroua via garoua.
What to see on the way: lagdodam (artificial lake), extensive cotton farms, garoua river port and garoua town. Night at maroua.
5th day: maroua to mindif and back.
What to see: Admire the gigantic mindif rock and the beautiful scenery of the adjoining areas and the dome – shaped traditional architectural structures.
6th day: visit blacksmiths and leather tanning centres before departing for waza national park, which is the most visited park in central Africa because of its unique richness in wildlife species such as elephants, lions, large antelopes (roan antelopes, heartbeasts, buffoon kobs), austriches (largest bird) and other numerous birds.
7th day: spend early house of the day in the waza park before departing to rhumsiki via koza pass.
What to do see: visit Oudjilla fon’s palace to see his numerous wives and hundreds of children, the unique architectural design of his buildings.
Proceed through the rocky koza pass to rhumsiki, and overnight.
8th – 9th day: trekking through the picturesque rhumsiki and its environs.
What to do:
Visit the spiky mchirguire mountain and the adjoining lunar landscape; rhumsiki cave, believed to be the hide-out for the natives during times of war in the past, crafts making homes (cotton – weaving, pottery, tannery, basket weaving). Visit the witch doctor and night. Trek to the homes of some traditional rulers and experience some aspects of local culture.
10th day: rhumsiki to Garoua and overnight.
What to see: rocky lunar landscape along the Nigerian border.
11th day: Garoua to the atlantika area and night in traditional palace of Wangai.
What to see: atlantika Mountains with the indigenous population made up of the Koma tribe, who are still pristine.
12th day: continue visiting other areas at atlantika.
13th day: departure from Poli to Ngaoundere and travel by train to Yaounde by night.
14th day: Yaounde to Douala and flight from Douala at night.
