TOTAL ECLIPSE OF THE SUN ARGENTINA 2019 – FULL EXPERIENCE

Written By llokalla

On July 2, 2019 there will be a total solar eclipse, which will be visible over the Pacific Ocean, Chile and Argentina. It will be partial in a large part of both countries (outside the shadow zone of the Moon), while the path of the shadow, where the Sun will be completely hidden, will encompass a narrow strip that will cross from west to east the provinces of San Juan, San Luis, La Rioja, Cordoba, Santa Fe and Buenos Aires. The entire eclipse will occur at dusk, so the best locations in Argentina will be that located to the west of it, especially west of the province of San Juan.

Given that for a given region an eclipse of the Sun turns out to be an extremely rare astronomical event, the observation of the phenomenon will have a high cultural and educational value for the Province of San Juan, as well as the impact on the tourism sector. In this sense, several San Juan towns are in the path of the totality of the shadow: Bella Vista, Rodeo, Las Flores, San Jose de Jáchal, north of the city of San Juan, Villa Mercedes, El Fiscal, Huaco, Mogna, Villa San Agustin, Las Tumanas, Chucuma, Marayes and Caucete.

EUROLATINO Tour Operators has the pleasure to invite you to experience this unique phenomenon in one of the best observation places of the country. The chosen scenario for this adventure is a private plot located near Bella Vista (31°09′00″S 69°27′00″W), where you will have 100% total solar eclipse visibility. The total duration of the eclipse will be of 2 hours and 23 minutes, but you will be able to admire the totality in 2 minutes and 30 seconds. This eclipse will reach its peak point around 17:39:32,1 local time (UTM 19:39).

We invite you to enjoy a unique and unforgettable observation of the Argentine Eclipse 2019! Close to San Juan and Bella Vista, we will have a special and comfortable spot to live this amazing experience. Here you can find a quiet place to prepare your equipment, or simply take a rest before the main event.

Live your eclipse experience getting to know Argentina´s Highlights. We offer you a full eclipse experience of 10 days/9 nights starting in Buenos Aires and ending after the event. It includes a magnificent visit of the Igauzu Falls, a natural wonder in South America. Enjoy also the Mendoza Wines on a winery visit, one of the best wines throughout the world. If you have other plans while you visit South America, we offer you the amazing short experience starting in Buenos Aires with a flight to Mendoza, living this experience for 5 days/ 4 nights.
