Uganda Water Safari
Written By Leonardo Gubinelli
This 7-day water safari explores some of Uganda’s most scenic and breath taking sites, including the famous Luwero Triangle, Murchison Falls National Park, Murchison River, the River Nile, and the Budongo Forest. But this is not just any Ugandan Safari. As well as trekking through a variety of terrains and getting up close with a number of wild animals including rhino, lion, elephant, and chimps, you will also have the opportunity to engage in a local clean water project, shadowing local residents as they build clean water wells in their community. This clean water project aims to provide safer sources of water in Uganda as well as improve local knowledge and practice of good hygiene. These efforts aim to increase wellbeing and productivity in the community by reducing illness related to poor sanitation. Add an extra 3 days to the trip and go jungle trekking to find a family of gorillas.
